Props to BFG Tech - Great hardware customer service.
I bought a 8800 GT OC about 1 year ago. The other day it began to get sprites on the screen that were like this -

|- - - - - - - - - -
| - - - - - - - - - -
|- - - - - - - - - -

Where | is the beginning of the side of the display and the - dashes were white dashes and the screen could be seen around the dashes. Then I rebooted and it continued to happen even in BIOS loading. After 1 day of this it got to the point the loading froze and the OS would not start.

I put in the stock video card for this PC and it fired right up no problems.

I called BFG and they said since I bought it off an e-bay retailer they would not honor the warranty. I argued that this was an unopened box item and it was not bought second hand and was from an e-bay store. They proceeded with the RMA and within 3 days I got a 9800 GT OC as a replacement.

Not only did I get fast service but I got a free upgrade too.

I just wanted to give them a good note in here. I had never delt with BFG in the past but I would assuredly deal with them in the future they have prompt responses and are willing to work with the customer.
