I would probably say anything Sony. They are reliable and Japanese meaning they are defiantly reliable.

For business we use a Panasonic PV-GS80. This model retails around $200-$250.. The design is small, which is good-very easy to move around, battery life is very good, 32X zoom- can't really ask for better, and the best part is the excellent microphone capabilities. It has what's called Stereo Zoom, so the sound quality is excellent. I owned a Sony camera before, and the we always had to do video editing to re-do the sound.

before you put your money down for anything sony, you might look at EXACTLY what their guarentee covers - 'cause you will get exactly that and nothing else

bought a sony dslr camera - 12 month guarentee - wanted to ask tech support a question - wouldn't even speak to me unless they had a credit card number - [and all i wanted to know was a clarification of what was in the manual - NOT that i was unhappy with their product]

i've had good luck - AND good service - from jvc and lg

as has somebody else:

two thumbs up for LG

companies that stand behind their product get my support - and i speak with my wallet

My vote goes for Sony. We love ours. Most of my friends have invested in Sony's too and have been happy with it.
