Such as HP, Dell and Compaq

They do extensive in depth reviews of all laptops on the market today, you can also use the search engine to look for a specific review if you have a certain model in mind.

Thanks for the replies etc.

But what I'm really looking for, given a make and model. Where can I find when it came on the market and for how long. As most of these sites give reviews on new models and when you google for reviews, it does not always list a review of that model or any info of release.
