Anyone know about this computer?
So my laptop isn't that good, and I'm thinking of getting another laptop.

1. http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-Satell.../dp/B002BDU8QU

2. http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-Satell.../dp/B002BDU8QU

I want #2, because I believe the computer is better AND cheaper? My mom said she'll buy it.

However, she got cold feet when the time came, and made up excuses similar to "The site is a scam" or "This brand isn't great" and "The reviews on this computer are fake so they can help scam more people"

So I need your help. Which one is better? Is the brand of #2 (MSI Microstar) great at all?

I have seen alot of old Toshibas still kicking around
I cant vouch for the new ones however
you can order direct from toshiba as well...the prices are very respectable,as i was looking about a year ago.
By the way both your links are the same like i cant look at number 2....repost that second link for me if you can

I never had experience with one...the take i get regarding them is...the notebooks arent bad,but the service sucks...that is meaning customer service for a repair.

me i tend to even take customer service a step further......xp drivers for vista systems, forums, detailed trouble shooting, diagrams for replacement parts etc.

Dell and IBM have shined in these areas....my last purchase was a dell...its something to consider.

If i were to make a purchase today I would think very seriously about these in the link below

I had 2 Toshibas, had extended service for the first one and even years later, the service from Toshiba was excellent (keyboard was stuck).
My Dell is not so good.
Seems everyone has their favourites.
