Need a new laptop
Hi everyone

I am in the market to purchase a new laptop. I wil luse it for school work, the internet, burning CD's and DVD's, and storing tons of photos and some music. I'm not a fan of Mac so I don't want one of those and I don't care for Dell or HP. Everything I ever had that was HP didn't work. I want one no larger than 15" and would like it to have a webcam.

I'm not sure which brand to go with, I have a Gateway desktop that I have had no problems with over the years but I hear they were bought out and the new owners are making lousy computers now. That would have been my go to brand but not so much anymore.

Which brands do you find are the best and why?

Both have a good track record and priced reasonably as well

Thanks for the Toshiba link I will check it out too.

I have a Dell Vostro and don't care for it. I don't care for Dell period.
