Need Opinions on the SOLTEK SL-75DRV5
Anyone own this mobo, have any experience with it, or have overclocked it? Please post any opinions or helpful links you have about it. I'm looking at this mobo versus Epox's KT333 mobo for a new rig, and am curious as to which one would be better suited.

Don't know about the Soltek, but I just got the Epox 8K3A; the basic model, not the + model with raid. Been running for a couple days with an Athlon XP 1900 and Windows XP.

I'm happy with it so far. I updated the BIOS right away and that was the easiest flash I've ever done - the bios download came with a batch file, all you had to to was unzip to a boot disk, boot, and type UPDATE to run the batch which did the update for you. Don't know if that's common, but its the first time I'd seen it.

I did hit a snag at first when the Epox didn't seem to like my NEC brand PC2100 DDR - didn't recogine it as the right size, and refused to boot the Windows XP CD. Replacing the NEC with Mushkin PC2700 cured the problem.

After getting it going It's been quite stable. I've run some games (Madden, NASCAR) and 3Dmark several times each with no crashes or lockups or anything.
