Cool Solved: Laptop for simple use?
Okay, so I have roughly 200 give or take a little and I would like to get a laptop within that range of money. I could care less about the operating system on it, seeing that I would put Linux on it. I do have some requirements though...

-800MBs or more of RAM
-Intel Graphics Card or better
-250Gbs of Hard drive space
-2.0 GHz processor
-Internal internet card (optional)

Give me your suggestions also for a good linux to put on this laptop. Thank you

Hi,
Not sure about the laptop (I'm in the UK) but Linux ... you could look at those aimed at less turbo-charged machines such as:

Xubuntu

http://www.xubuntu.org/

#! Crunchbang

http://crunchbanglinux.org/wiki/about

or LXDE

http://www.ubuntugeek.com/lxde-light...or-ubuntu.html

These are are all Ubuntu based btw.

Hope these of interest?

What would I have to pay to find one? I am willing to spend up to 350 dollars?

Check Ebay. You may find some good deals. I bought a package of 4 laptops for $10 and 2 of them worked. It is really a matter of matching your requirements to the price. The better they are, the faster their prices go up. If you aim below the top, you can very often get amazing deals.
