I've tried alot of P2P programs and the fastest one I have found is Blubster For mp3's.I'm on cable and most downloads average around 75 to 100 K.Give it a try and see if it works as well for you as it does for me. www.blubster.com

Another advantage of Blubster is that it is Spyware-free.
