Question Loud noise resembling drums on here
As a new user just starting to browse around, I have twice heard a loud noise which sounds like a drum roll. Can anybody tell me what this is? It only happens on this site.

Thanks in anticipation.

GirlyinOz: You're not the first to ask that question! lol Read farther down in this forum. The sound is actually a car revving up in one of the ads on TSG. Don't worry....you haven't gone to Oz! Take care. angel

And welcome to TSG!

Thanks Angel!
There's such a lot to read - and I'm enjoying every minute of it! It's good to know that there's somebody out there who has an answer for everybody's questions.

Thanks also for the welcome!

Bye - Jane
