Solved: Can't Post in the Malware Forums
I've been trying to post last night around 9-10pm EST then again this morning 7-8am EST to post about a sudden computer crash and restart in the Malware Forums, but each time I try to start a new thread the page doesn't load. A message reads something along the lines of "We are experiencing a delay in processing your request. Please have patience." Then it directs me to :

http://forums.techguy.org/newthread....=54&503retry=1

Which is a blank page.

I've tried Log Out, clear all history and cookies on all my browsers, IE, Firefox, Chrome, disabled Avast and WinPatrol, and Log back in and post but its still leading me to the same place with a blank page.

That's not normally a long term problem.
It's just that the servers and database get a bit overloaded with requests, so it starts refusing them until it can slow down, have a cup of coffee, and get it's flustered brain back in gear. If you try again about 10 minutes later it normally works fine.

Disclaimer: don't let your computer have coffee . They don't tend to appreciate it...

Please state the exact title of the thread and what forum it is in. It won't load at all and I don't see a new thread with your user name in the malware forum.

Are you suggesting I reuse that thread? The issue with Happili has been resolved months ago. I'm trying to create a new thread with a different issue.

I've gotten that same problem today in some forums, and it never resolves so I have to go back to the main menu to get in.

A nice, blue progress bar that does nothing once it finishes?

(Definitely start your own thread.)

Yes, the blue bar does nothing. I've even tried the link that says click this if your browser does not automatically redirects you, link.

Like it says in my first post. I go to "new Thread" type in my content, then click post, then it loads terribly slow, then it shows me the message I indicated that there is a delay in processing my request. And then the page "loads" to nothingness and the URL to that blank page is to one in the first post.

It does not "work" because it leads me to a blank page and it seems it leads others to a blank page too. I've gone to main menu to check "My Posts" and the only two posts I've made is that Happili thread, which has been resolved, and this thread.

Usually it's only a temporary glitch during peak times when there are heavy loads on the servers. Try again and let us know if you still get this problem. And if you do, let us know what browser you're using (and version) as well as what server you're on at the time. You will find that information in the lower left side of the page where it says "you are using server: x".

My computer crashed and restarted again today when I attempted to sign onto this website.
I also tried to post again, but again it said that there was a delay in processing my request and sent me to a blank page.

I am using Google Chrome: 19.0.1084.52
Server 1

I'm going to try to post using another computer.

I was able to post in the Malware forums.
