Solved: Mobile TechGuy
Hey Mike. Not sure if you pushed out a new version of the mobile site recently but it looks like you did. I just recenty started having an issue with it.

When I go to forums.techguy.org it redirects to m.techguy.org and then I have to select touch and then it loads the forums.
I have to do that every time I come here. My browser doesn't seem to remember that I want the touch version to load each time. Never did this before.

Looks like that cookie was set to remember for only an hour... I've just changed it to be a month (assuming your browser maintains the cookies that long).

Nope, not yet... and Google has asked me a few times to add those +1 buttons to our site, but I just haven't gotten around to it.

For some reason, I have to log in to my account every day. I have enabled cookies in safari.

The timing of this aligns with this thread issue. Anyone have any suggestions?

Doubt it -- this new function only generates a new cookie, it doesn't touch existing. What version of Safari and what kind of device? Thanks!

Interesting. I'll have to try it on my iPad to see if I can reproduce it. If not, I can also try on Heather's iPhone when she gets home tonight.

Brad, I've got the same version as you on the iPhone. Do you clear your history + cookies often? That always takes me back to square 1 (as it should) . Square 1 being the touch/text/full site screen. Just a thought.

Well.... that's the thing. I haven't cleared out any of them. And I have the phone set to always allow cookies.

Hmm.

I have 'from visited' selected. I didn't change any of my default settings regarding Safari when I got my phone.

Tell you what, I'll log on from my phone and leave it alone until tomorrow and we can see if it makes me log in. I'll report back...
