haha, sorry brendan. i tend to do that alot.

an example of the quickreply box is at Removed link much objectionable language its at the bottom of each topic there is text box with a button on it. its so we dont have to go to the Reply button everytime. speeds things up, makes em easier.

Randy
Posting the link to the other site for reference of Quick links could of been done just as easily verbally. The site you have linked TSG too uses #$%& every other word which is not allowed by rules here at TSG! I am going to remove the link and consider this an over-site on your part and not close this thread.

We already have that. If you want to reply without even reading the whole thread, your probably wanting to reply to a specific post. Use the Quote button. If its not to a specific post, use Quote then delete the text thats automatically put tere.

oops, sorry bout that link. if someone wants an example, ask me personally and ill send you the link. im a lil new and still trying to get used to your rules. apologies.
i think the admin should be able to login to the vbulletin site and get a QuickReply box addin. the quoting idea defeats the purpose of quickreply. the idea is that we dont have to load another page when we reply.

Ohh, I see what you mean. So the reply box would be on the bottom of each page instead of having to go to a new page?
Not sure if thats a good idea or not. Something to think about.

Well, there would be longer page loads, and it would only be more work for TechGuy.

it takes a couple of minutes to install, and it slows the page load down about 1/10th of a second.
