Talking The New Changes (7 June 2003)
A few quick notes:

- You can turn off the QuickReply box from your User Options (by clicking User Panel at the top-right).

- As for the post percentage, there are a few good reasons for this. First, it shows those involved in helping people rather than just chatting. Second, it gives new people a chance to be comparable to those who have been around for years (as they can never approach the post counts).

- For now, "tech posts" is defined as any posts that was not in Site Comments or Random. This will be displayed for all users next to their posts. There are two exceptions: if a new member has not posted 10 or more times, it doesn't bother calculating and only says "I'm New!". Also, if a user has a birthday this week, it will display that fact instead of a post percentage.

Uh oh, Randy... looks like QuickReply isn't working for the Donated (no ads) version... I always surf with the ads on (every little bit helps!) so I didn't notice... hang on a sec and I'll fix it.

Randy: Ahem! It still lists your post count in the members section!

Mike: I like the birthday feature! Makes it easier to post the birthday threads now!

LOL, Randy... If I go back and include "Site Comments" as a tech forum, I'd probably look a lot better!

Like the "quick relply", but will take a bit to get used to the blue line above the post, with name and info and such!

Looks good!
