Completely baffled by Affero
To Mike and the Mods (I still think that's a great name for a rock band! )

I tried to sign up to Affero. I recieved an activation e-mail and tried to fill out their webpage info, but...how do I know I am properly registered? What happens next?

Yes please Marlene: leave me a TY (and you don't have to fake it! ).

But seriously: I was reading the other affero thread and it said something about if your acct was active the affero at the bottom of your posts would turn red.

Your link doesn't work, that is the default link. Type your affro name in your profile, and that'll fix it. Only red affro links work for specific users

If you have registered at Affero as pyritechips, then in your Edit profile link, you should enter the Affero username in the box.

I am on Affero as RandyG, so in the Affero name box in my Profile, i enter RandyG and it works.

Ok, Dumb question. I assume that affero is like an IM proggy?
If so is it limited to here or does a registration go all over the WWW?
