PM buddy list BUG
When I check a name on my buddylist and click "compose message" it takes me to my inbox.

I tried it with many of the names on my list and it does the same with each one.
BUT if I check more then one name it then works ok.

Happened to me this time when I was forwarding a PM to one of my buddies. I used the Forward to Buddies link in the PM, and after selecting only the one I wanted, it put me back to my Inbox. When I selected forward, and typed in the name, it worked ok.

IE6, and it was the PM I sent to you, Candy, that I had the problem with.

Now, to be clear, either from your My Home link, click on the Send PM to Buddies under the Buddy List on the left. Select only 1 Buddy, and click on Compose Message. I get sent back to PM Inbox at that point.

I also get the same response when I use the PM to buddies option from the PM Inbox area, but then again, the links are exactly the same.

This is happening on 2 machines, 1 at home and 1 at work. Now they are both Win2k and IE6 with all SPs and updtes installed.

I never use the send pm to buddy link there, I just hit pm next to the person's name in the buddy list

And yes, that way, it happens to me too.......

sort of what I figured.

I never used that link either, till Hewee mentioned it, and I was pretty sure you weren't using it either.

maybe now that I have pointed out exactly the process to follow, Mike can see it and fix it.
