a new rating system to complement old one
i work alone so i have lots of time to come up with ideas. and i was thinking. it would be nice if you had a little something for the dms that earn dm status in the tech forums. like if you have 40-50% of your posts in the tech forum have distinguished member written in silver, 60-70% gold, and 80-90% platinum or a color of your choice.

the reason i think this is neccesary is, though they are a pleasure to be around and chat to the random people rack up the posts really quick. and alot
of those are from the games and ripping on mulder. the tech forums
alot of the time people look up on google to find drivers for people and spend up to 20 mins trying to find answer. for the person. and the tech guys are the reason people com to this site

20 minutes may even be on the low side. Ever waded through a 4 to 6 page HJT log? Where do these people find all that crap to fill their hard drives (and HJT logs)??

i seen and helped through a few (1-2) if some one shows me how extensivly how to read them i can help out. as we are one of the few places reading them.

oh yea that reminds me, mike can you setup a section where first post hjt logs are sent, even if they are posted in other areas so the people that analyze them dont have to hunt for them.

OK, OK I'll admit it. I love the challenge. PLUS, I love the learning.

However, I must also admit, that with the length of some of these HJT logs, I'm surprised the computer doesn't throw-up instead of boot-up!!!
