Are you insulted by the naming of the new section or because FUN GAME is "your baby"? Talk about flipping over absolutely nothing. Close away!

Thanks for you instructions on how to play what time is it. Now that I know how to play, it still is a stupid idea like the majority of your threads.

FYI, we don't get paid per view -- it's per click. Even so, it's not as though the thread was deleted. It's still there. Just listed under games. I'll have to look at it again, but it is a game, right? (I assumed so by it's title...)

ah! Now I see why you named it that....I was wondering what possessed you to name it Mindless/Meaningless Drivel! Thought it was almost mean of you and that you might be trying to send a message to some of the members.

Makes more sense now that I've read this.

I wouldn't have a problem renaming it... just went with the crowd. "TSG Thread Games & Arcade Discussion" would be fine... I'm open to suggestions!

are you thinking about a place for just word games, as in 'Fun Game', and the alphabet games, or somewhere for all games? if the thread games are that many, maybe it should be just that, thread games.

I'm not sure what the difference is. How are you defining "all games"? The new forum isn't for technical questions about PC games, but for just for fun stuff... like what's in there!

The new forum *is* the place for thread games... that's why they're there now, and why we're considering renaming it to "TSG Thread Games & Arcade Discussion"...

As long as you don't make more than 9 meaningless threads in one day, I won't complain.

We've got to come up with a clear definition "meaningless threads", particularly in these sort of forums.

But, I think that might be outside the scope of this thread.

And what the hell is the point? Drive up YOUR post count with the second most easiest thing ever? the absolute easiest would be to post blank posts a few hundred times. That is just asinine. Here's a tip: if post counts are so meaningful and important to you, then if you didn't keep getting banned so many times you would have a few thousand posts.

Unfortunately, most of random is "meaningless," but most of it is still enjoyable. However, I do like the current name of the forum, and that is coming from someone who has participated in the mindless drivel. but I have no attachment if a better name is brought about

One suggestion: since a lot of the people that would use the new forum also inhabit random, maybe you will want a link to it in random. Come to think of it actually, I don't remember seeing the old civ deb and announcements links in random anymore. If they are put back, then maybe a link to the new forum would be good.
