Think there are/would be enough of them? I wouldn't be against it if it got used...

Fun game...
Another fun game...
word game...
click on this game...
click on another game...

I have nothing against games. It would just be nice to gather them all up and "unclutter" Random. I believe there are already enough of them.

Just a thought.

I'd agree with that Jim.
A sub-forum for the Random games would make the discussion area less cluttered and easier on my tired old eyes

They don't really qualify as games and I am sure the games section folks would be pissed if you put them in there...LOL

Too much "sectioning" makes a forum harder to navigate and actually find what you are looking for. There are only so many ways to divide up mindless drivel.

By the same token you could split out all of the fantasy sports stuff and American Idol/reality TV stuff as well.

Jim - Jack - glad that I am not the only one who believes that "Random" needs a spring clean Your suggestion would certainly alleviate some of the "clutter"

Yeah, oldie

Nothing like vacuuming up some of the 'clutter' with the old Electrolux, eh bud?

LOL As much as I disagree with Rockn I had to laugh at the above!

Sectioning Random is no worse thand dividing Operating systems into W9x, Win NT, Mac, DOS, other. Why can that get divided up and not "makes a forum harder to navigate and actually find what you are looking for..."

Yes, take the sports "pool" threads too; take them and the other games thread and put them in a sub-forum called "The Games Room".

Random
>> More Random than Random
>> Junk that doesn't fit above
>> Garbage Can (Stuff with Mulder in Title)
>> Threads by Hex

This seems like recycling day and sorting your gabage into neat little piles. Keep it all in one pile and the old stuff not used gets swept to the back of the room eventually.

The new Arcade is a good idea, Thanks Mike

But, gamers are still flooding Random.
To me, it does detract from the idea of 'Random' discussion.
Perhaps the 'games' of Random could be included somehow in 'Arcade'?
This is what I saw this morning:

Yup, and included in the new forum could be any Arcade-related discussions. Unless there are any objections before I do so, you'll probably see a new forum appear today.

Forum Games?

TSG games room?

TSG Game room?

I could see where it would bother some folks to see so many games in Random, But everyone still post's around them. At my site, I have another area for forum Games and it is better.

Some may like the seperation from the gamers also or visa versa

Either way, I will still be playing games and posting in random
