That EZ? Why didn't I think of that?
Suggestion:

You might want to open a board so that in future, any absentminded people (like myself) could try searching it for help with the types of issues which may be so obvious to alert people, but which eludes "us".

Entitled:

That EZ? Why didn't I think of that?

For starters, I'd post these two experiences which caused me no end of aggravation:

(1) Your printer doesn't work? It may be perfectly OK, but upon ordering it, you might not have noticed that the toner cartridge was packed separately due to its being camouflaged amidst the packaging - and nobody - not even the seller - would have thought to inform you. And so, assuming the toner was already inside the printer, you tried printing via a toner-less printer...

(2) Your web pages' preview/print truncates text on the right? One possible reason why this happened may be because upon hooking up an older CRT, the browser margins automatically changed its margin setting to accomodate the old-fashioned CRT. Solution: Once you switch back to the newer CRT/LCD do as follows:
In your browser, Click: File, Page Setup, and decrease all the margin values as much as it will allow you to (i.e. Right margin: .25)

P.S. Just adding a comment: In this systemetized world, complete with systemetized government, systemetized unhealthcare and systemetized message boards, jelleym is a "Senior Member". Except jelleym is actually a perpetual newb - albeit a very appreciative one!

Hi jelleym

Questions like this are already covered. See the top of the page.

Seriously we can't anticipate and write down all the simple mistakes a user may make, They are just too darn creative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I hadn't meant for the administrators to anticipate potential questions, but rather that when anything like this happens to anyone, they can post it on such a board "for the record" so that future "dumbells" can search that board by keyword.

That's what I meant.

I'm not following you??????????????

How is that any different from using advanced search and searching the forums that we already have by keyword? You can search the archives for older saved posts too.

It's different in the respect that this would be a dedicated forum for that purpose, so that anyone who has had
[easily-avoidable-if-only-someone-would-have-thought-to-tell-me] frustrations
might bother posting them for the record. (Y'know like - NOBODY should have to go through this again!

But it's
No sweat if there is or isn't such a board. It's just an idea I had.
