posting question
I know I am not supposed to post the same message in multiple forums, but what if I don't get an answer in the forum in which questions is posted? Can I repost in another forum?

Yesterday, I posted a question regarding the Mime type for mpeg (to set up a helper application in Netscape), but got no replies. I was considering posting the question in Software forum.

Thanks.
Dave

It would be preferable to report the post and ask that it be moved to another forum.

You can do that by clicking on the red triangle beside the post number which will open up a screen where you can type a little message explaining why you're report the post.

I will move your post over to the software forum for you.

Good luck.

You can also move the thread up to the top by typing "bump". That eliminates mtlb. threads on the same issue.
