At the risk of having asked this question before: why doesn't my post count accrue additional posts?

I think they only increment in the technical sections of the forum. I guess they do increment in here...must be just your account.

Some people are confused by the fact that their current post count shows up on old posts. For example, your post number 661 at the top of this thread has just changed to 662 to reflect your current count.

Anyway, I think you've got it all figured out now. Enjoy the site.
