Yup, our whole Internet connection went down for about half an hour. Remember to book mark http://status.techguy.org/ to get info on outages when they happen in the future.

when i come here http://forums.techguy.org/ and don't log in, all i see this morning next to each forum is day and time, not the name of the thread and name of poster.
once i log in it returns to normal,
not a big problem, just thought i would report it.

That's actually by design. I made a lot of changes to try to make the page look less busy and a little easier to figure out for new users. Good observation, though!

It came and gone so I missed the NEW THREAD button.
Your right it would get confusing as many that wanted to reply would click on it and then wonder where there reply went to.

I get tru all most all the forums and as I went tru each I mark them as read.
Then they all start showing up as not read. I marked them again but they come back.
This I posted about the other day too and it only cleared up after Clicked on from the main page " Mark Forums Read ".

I too have noticed threads marking themselves as Unread after I refresh the board.
These are threads that have not had a response since I have read them.

A poster today, could not find the Mark Solved option in the Thread Tools-Drop down menu. They stated it ended with the Add a poll option.

doing it to me again. Why does it wait till I am almost done reading and marking all thread as read to then show up all as unread.
Ok I start at the main page and move up tru the forums and read and mark them as read.
So I am not sure if the bug just comes or comes after I get to the "Software & Hardware" forum that I read last.

Also had this happen just now.
At coffee shop and last post I see is #15642
http://forums.techguy.org/random-discussion/78718-tsg-coffee-shop-post2408085.html

I have posted or try to post but can't I just wait and wait and nothing happens.
I tried 5 times before I was able to post #15643.

You said something about running out of harddrive space so don't if this is why things are actting up or not.

Nope, hard drive space is just fine for now. Marking as read works fine for me. It may be helpful to tell us something about your system again... also, you're still not telling us what server you're on, although I suspect it won't matter in this case.
