Spamming
Would it be possible to limit the number of threads you can open in a given time thereby alerting Mods of possible spamming?

our MODS are good...but, there is a limit.

they cant control the people on the other end posting. they can only react.

I was thinking of a programming solution. If I tried opening 3 or 4 threads within, say, 2 minutes or so - then opening threads would automatically be disabled for me and a Mod or Admin alerted to check out what I was doing. That might be able to handle dupicate post also...

Candy: I'm curious....do you or a mod have to delete EACH individual thread posted by a spammer one at a time or can you do them all at once...such as the latest spammer and his 17 threads? I can see why you get

Unfortunately, we have to delete EACH AND EVERY ONE, MANUALLY, and it's VERY time consuming

That could be a good idea. Will have TechGuy look into a hack. Maybe only one new thread every 24 hours

Maybe Mike or someone can find a hack to delete the user's account which in turn automatically deletes all that person's threads....the spammers like Ron today?
