Solved: Attachments
It doesn't look like it should be too hard to attach a file to a post. The instructions are clear enough. Yet I never seem to be able to do it. I've clicked the manage attachments button, browse, chosen the file, upload. It seems be uploaded then I'm back to my message with no attachment. I've tried turning off NIS.

After choosing the file, did you click on "open" before you upload it?

I wonder if norton means that he/she can't see it in the preview post
You don't see the attachment until after you post your message...unlike inserting images, which can be seen in the preview.

Let's see if this works. Looks like it was not pressing open, although it's possible that I didn't look under the Attach files under options.
