Grow Up
I want to know how old the moderator is that edited and locked this thread:

http://forums.techguy.org/t377503&hi...t=toolkit.html

You need to grow up if you think P2P = illegal. This toolkit is perfectly legitimate and BitTorrent is the perfect way to distribute it.

Sure, I'll promise to read the forum rules if you promise to grow up and realize that you're power-hungry.

I guess it might seem a bit harsh, and everyone knows not all P2P is illegal today, but maybe worth remembering that the mods are volunteers and are charged with maintaining - 'policing' if you like - the forum rules. If none of the rules were enforced the place would quickly become a complete mess, so we all benefit from that. How about lobbying TSG to review its ruling on P2P in the light of current practice...might be more constructive than dissing a mod for enforcing rules you should have read?

In any case, P2P wasn't the only reason for the mod acting...the forum rules don't allow members to advertise (otherwise we'd all do it) and certainly can't allow advertising of services that include illegally distributed software.

This site does not support the use of P2P in any way, shape or form. We are not about to direct people to use those applications to download your toolkit, which is questionable, at best.

The thread was closed following discussion in the Moderators' forum and the decision to close it stands.

You are also out of line with your name calling so it looks like you haven't read the rules yet.

I am locking this thread now and any further postings regarding this matter will result in your account being disabled.

As I explained when closing the previous post, not only don't we support P2P, but Microsoft also does NOT allow distribution of their patches in that form. Which part of this don't you understand?
