Randy, I just did that search and it functions for me. I just entered remember me in the pull-down search box and fired it off. It returned 500 results, but I suspect there's even more.

Is there any way to use that search and have it look for an exact string, eg:

"remember me"

rather than "remember" and "me" in the same post?

Quotes seem to be ignored.

I run into this problem a lot using it, and end up going to Google.

I'm hoping that the new version of vBulletin -- expected to be released soon, but not immediately implemented here -- will include a more advanced search engine. I would never expect it to match that of Google, though... which is why we even link to Google from our Search menu.

I'll keep you guys updated as to our status with vB 3.5.

FYI, to clarify -- the phrase "remember me" had nothing to do with the error. As the error stated, the server was just busy at that time.

OK, that search string works for me now, but still takes a long time, so maybe "me" is one of those words we shouldn't be using, huh??

Anyway, it was probably just stressing out your poor server, which decided to vomit up the error instead of continue working!!

Take care guys!!

I remember looking and was on Server 2 when my error happened, but just searched on Server 1 and got the error. there are 787 users online with 25 members . . . maybe the rest spidering and causing server overload??

Of course, browsing the forum is ok, but I've been trying to submit this post for ages too!! I keep stopping it after about 20 secs. Previewing it, and going advanced is normal speed, but clicking on submit is brutally slow.

Hiya angel in my eyes!!

I just realised that it was the refreshing of the page that was causing the slowdown, because I just had to delete 2-3 posts that were duplicates. It seems erratic when it happens though.
