Login stalls
When I login to TSG forums, the response page thanking me for logging in just stalls in a Done status - should it not be returning my login to at least the main webpage for http://forums.techguy.org/ if not the specific webpage I am located at when I login?

As I recall, in the past it used to do so, but does no longer.

If this a malfunction in the login process?

I do use the hyperlink to get to the main webpage, but should it not be happening automatically without my manual intervention? At least that is the impression I have that it ought to be doing, but is not currently.

Does it depend on cookies?

Just asking because I don't know if this is a problem or just happens to me.

A few times I have also had it where I log in and the page re-directs me and logs me back out. Hasn't happened in a while though. I'm sure Techguy is responsible... maybe he's working with the scripts for the new overhaul or something.

Wait, on second thought to be fair to tech guy... Its probably you. Not sure what it is though... Do you know what server is giving you problems?

Hi loserOlimbs,

I clicked on the link in the email notification to get here, checked the server, and it was server 2. I then logged in from this thread, and no automatic redirection. Only two choices, I clicked on the link in the box and was taken to the main web page, http://forums.techguy.org

So its not letting you in still.

I can't help any more, hopefully TechGuy will stop by, or Candy... Someone who actually has power.

I never log out

But, I certainly would think that if you do clear cookies, that may have something to do with it.

I never log out either, but every now and then...

Well in the past every now and then it wouldn't let me in all the way, I would have to login three or four times before it would let me stay logged in.

When was I a bad boy?
Well there was that one time when you deleted my pic because I used a 3d clown I made instead of a real picture...

I was born bad! Then I grew up (a little).
Now I spend all my time repenting by helping out here at this wonderful site.
