When trying to use the spell checker here I get an error message that says ['ctrl.constructor' is not an object]. Any ideas?

*sigh* Looks like those guys at spellchecker.net have done it again... time for another update. I'll try to re-write all of the code this weekend.

It should be working now! Thanks for pointing that out, Steve! As I like to say, if I don't know there's a problem, I can't fix it.

Anyway, someone once asked about getting rids of the ads associated with the spell checker. I checked into it and at the rate of use right now, it'll cost between $100-$150 per year.

Don't know if this is related to the chances made to the spell checker, however every time I access another page in the forum I receive a message:
-------------------------
Runtime error
Do you wish to debug
line 341
error 'pxl'
is undefined
-------------------------
also had to redo my name and password again in order to add this message to the thread.
-------------------------
All this is new since yesterday evening.
Any Ideas.

Those changes were made only to the New Thread and New Reply pages -- nothing else. Unfortunately, the error we're getting now is again caused by about.com's advertising script, as we saw about a week ago. I'll contact them about it and hopefully they'll get things working on their end for good this time.

Sorry Mike
Sent you a sample of the code that was erroring before I knew you had answered the thread. If it's a vendors problem then I'll just have to put up with it till they fix it.
Thank Dave

Nope -- we're not putting up with it. I just turned off ads (which was causing the error) for tonight. They'll probably be back tomorrow without the error.

Thanks for the kind words, Steve. I do what I can.

Going back to the Spell Check ads, though -- I received a donation for $20 today. If anyone is interested, feel free to go to http://www.helponthe.net/donate.html to help raise a little money. Once we raise $100 (only $80 more), I'll go ahead an upgrade to the non-ad version of the Spell Check. Otherwise, moral support is always appreciated!
