Solved: First Page in Thread - No Word Wrap.
I.E.6

Hello,

In Tech Tips and Tricks, and here the first page of four has no word wrap. Missing is the right-hand panel showing the Google Search option.

Thanks.

Posts like this are the reason, the graphics string out and prevent the word wrap. This post should look familiar, since you posted it.

Hello JohnWill,

Thanks for responding.

I believe by "graphics" you tell of attachments. I don't understand "string out" nor do I understand why the entire thread is unaffected with the exception of the posts on page1.

Ben.

The widest post on the entire thread determines the width of the thread. When you include multiple graphic attachments, they keep being added to the same line in the message, and make it wider than the screen.

I'm not sure why they can't automatically be put on succeeding line when they exceed some set maximum, perhaps that's a good feature request.

Here's an example, I added a few random graphics.

*** EDIT *** Well, not a very good example! For some reason, these wrapped like I thought they should. Now I am confused!

It wraps on my 17" monitor 1024x768

It does not on my 23" monitor 1920x1200... the horse and the atx connector fit side by side

No more beating the horse
