First << and Last >> page of a Thread
I just noticed that the << and >> markers for First and Last pages of a thread are not always available when one is somewhere in the middle of the pages and would like to get to either end.

Can that be changed to always display << and >> to access that functionality?

Hi heewee,

You choose the threshold case of 6 pages. At 7 pages and larger, for example, you don't see either the << or >>.

Tidus4Yuna and JohnWill,

I am using Firefox 1.5.0.3, but it doesn't happen on other forums like Wilders Security Forums with Firefox, and I've only noticed it here at TSG.

The difference between TSG and Wilders is apparently:
vBSEO 2.4.5 - TSG <--- I am not sure this is the vBulletin version or not.
vBulletin 3.5.3 - Wilders
Both by Jelsoft.

So what is the problem? In FF the textual first and last only show up for the first two and the last two in the series of pages otherwise they show up like < 1 2 3 4 5 6 > and I am sure people are smart enough...wait a minute houston, this may be a problem!!

only time I use it is when I click on a thread link in my subscriptions and it goes to the first post and not the first unread one.

Try turning off any filters you might have (Internet accelerators, AdBlock, etc) -- I bet something is eating it.
