Tapered off, then quit. I was only getting them from Joke/Humor and Political Humor yesterday, and they've quit entirely today. I checked the web mail on my ISP and they weren't in the Spam folder and I tried changing my account. No Joy. Any ideas?

Try another provider? Yahoo and Gmail seem to be good.

When I changed my account I meant one with a different provider. I just got back from town and had no notification of a reply to this thread. A notification of reply to PH on the account I changed from this morning, and a reply notification on the account I changed to for J/H.

I recently had the very same problem and it was because techguy.org was in the list of blocked addresses in the spam filter ....how it got blocked I have no idea but unchecking it brought back the notifications

A lot of larger ISPs block us due to the number of messages we send out -- a pretty dumb was to determine spam if you ask me.

Yahoo let Rid Item of the Day through, not PH and J/H. However it did let some through from those threads earlier.

I've been using Yahoo for a while now, and I sometimes get notified and sometimes I don't even for the same thread.

One of them is in my profile, the yahoo account is also still active. I might need to switch back again.

Uhh... while you can send an email using the address in a profile, you can't actually access the actual email address, which is required to paste into the GMAIL invite slot.
