Save login information
Yes I am old and lazy! is there some way to have the login info saved so I don't have to look it each time I sign in? I am using Firefox which usually ask me to save the login username and password. Not at this site though. I check the box to save the info but it doesn't save it. Can this be corrected or do I just have to live with it. Thanks in advance.

Valleyman7, I don't have any help for you (I use firefox too, but mine does save my login info for me and logs me in automatically so I don't know why yours doesn't on here), but,

Oh well pooh. I just went to my options and allowed cookies info for this site, wonder if that will solve the problem. I know that it can be done as I had the same problem with Evoke TV. They did something at there end and the it save the info. Just one of life's little problems

That's the way it works for me as well. I can kill off the cookies and login, then just quit from IE, when I logon again, I'm still recognized.

What browser / operating system are you using? Also, did you try turning off any Internet accelerators / Internet Security / AdBlocker?

Thanks!

Look in Firefox > Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies > Keep Cookies: Do you have that set to 'Until I close Firefox' - That would explain why your cookies are getting deleted.

I also use Firefox and I use Ccleaner to delete cookies. Ccleaner lets you pick the cookies you want to keep and as long as I keep the techguy.org cookie, I'm always logged in.

Saving cookies in Firefox must be the answer. I went to TSG and was logged on. This was after Firefox had been shut down the night before. Hope it stays. You never know what IE7 will screw up next. My momma always said Son she said never install a beta wait for the first service pack and better yet wait for service pack 2. I didn't listen! Chapter II coming soon Subject: Links in Outlook Express. I just need to learn to listen to momma.

After the upgrade at the end of the year Mike the password manager in netscape will not remember the password so if you clear the cookies you have to retype everything.
Some with another site that got the newer vBulletin.
TSG I think will fill the info in if it is in the password manager but I forget.
I posted it way back then when we was all posting the bugs and we were deleting cookies etc because I deleted tsg from the cookie manager then and I can not get it back because the new vBulletin will not come up.
Just like I forgot to log back in just now and when I hit the back button all I typed was gone.
Before the upgrade I could always hit the back button and everything I typed out would still be there.
