Hi dbailey18

Not if they help explain the post they were attached to.
If you delete them, then all we see is a box with the red X

Did you take note of EAFiedlers post

It can be very confusing if an attachment is deleted when it's part of an explaination

I thought they were on the server when you upload them
If they wern't then every time you turned off your computer the attachments would have an X

Also, I thought he ment delete them from the post/thread

You and me both EA

ferrija1 I don't think you can delete an attachment from a thread if it's be uploaded to the TSG server...however you can if it's been uploaded from a remote one by removing it from that server or removing the code... which you can't do after a certain time period

bottom line... we encourge people to not remove attachments as it often removes continuity from the thread...

But like I said you turn off your computer and the attachments are there so they're on the server...

I have an idea i'll try it (OMG what took you soooooo long to think of that ).

And your point is?

Your posts really have nothing to do with the original question.

If they were uploaded from your computer then of course they are on the TSG server... you can throw your computer in the trash if you like

I ment the attachment can be removed from your computer... sorry I wasn't sure if the original question was to delete the attachment from your computer or TSG.

Sorry if I messed up; dbailey18 did you mean delete them from your computer or the website, TSG?

Since dbailey18 asked about uploaded attachments, they would be referring to the images on the server.
Found here at TSG: My Account > Attachments

By the way, dbailey18 has already solved this for themselves.
