Arrow A Curiosity?
Hello,

The attached GIF and what it reveals is puzzling me. There must be an explanation. I can't find it

This only occurs when my MVP Hosts file is not installed. This not so - see edit below.
?

Ben.

PS I cannot duplicate this situation. However within a few minutes of my finding this strange advertising my ISP terminated service for half an hour. I am at a loss!

Are you confused by the advertisment? Click on the question mark at the top of an ad for more details, but they're ads that show up to users who aren't logged in.

Well it is obviously the new advertising for the internet and I think you can turn it off (somewhere in the comments ans sugestions there is a thread about the advertisments) but I don't know why it only happens when your MVP Hosts file is not installed.

Talking Ahhh,
Tech Guy,

Thanks for the response. I am glad you know about them - I have never seen them before. Did a format/install during the night so am not sure of where I was with it this morning when I first saw the ads/underlinings.

Well I don't know why I cannot bring them back but logging-out doesn't do it or removing the Hosts file. but I am not now concerned!

ferrija1,

Thanks for your responses. I guess Tech Guy's post and mine (above) says it all.

Cheers.

Ben.
