I seem to be missing some email updates from this site
Not quite worked out why/how/when

and not all threads ... I'll try and post some examples as they happen in a new post

But I do not always get an email from a thread I have posted to .....

it started yesterday - i noticed people had answered a thread and i did not get an email

again today

i just carried out a search of all threads i have added to and found half a dozen where I had not received an email from the latest update..

for example

Orig question
i reply with more info
Orig posts again
I get email and reply
Orig post again
No mail

heres an example
http://forums.techguy.org/hardware/4...r-updates.html

on this thread
http://forums.techguy.org/windows-nt...ves-error.html
the last email i got was for post#7

I notice the same thing. I wonder if (and I didnt' look at your examples) --- the posts were very close in time to yours?

But, in any event, the moderators have been complaining about the same thing to Mike. So, I think he's aware of something....maybe his mail server is on coffee break?

I never did like hotmail. I think they filter around your spam folder. For a 'real' test, try changing your notifications to a 'real' email address

If you need a Gmail addy, pm me and let me know. I have tons to hand out

I got a notification that 35 emails have been bounced back from me! Nothing has changed with my server or my settings, I read in another thread http://forums.techguy.org/random-dis...please-27.html post no.808 that another member is having problems too. I have checked all my settings and have tried to reset notifications and it won't work any ideas please

i have just had a PM that I have had 69 emails bounced and notification has been switched off.
I have previously changed my email address from hotmail to gmail
so I will change it again to my ISP account and see what happens

This is happening to several of us …
I’ve had trouble for probably over a week now.

Got notified yesterday 3 times (by Email) that my Email was bouncing ... I keep turning it back on.

More complaints here ..
