A warnings forum.
I think it might be a good idea to have a forum specificly so that warnings about comon computer evils can be posted. Eg: DONT GET AOL

stuff like that.

Often people do stuff with their computers or get a new service only to realise its evil and that if thay had asked arrond they would have been told not to go there.

I was thinking anlong the lines of a forum for people who dont now much about the tech world with warnings like: Dont get AOL, Dont format C:\, Never open attatchements on junk emails. stuff like that. Stuff that we all had to learn from our mistakes.

I think this is a great idea. And maybe put some reasoning behind the DONTS. like why not get AOL? and explain why AOL is so bad...or something like that

Well, my own take...

If they are worried about it, there is the "reviews" forum that they could search, they could start a thread in any forum and ask about the software they are considering.

Or a nice FAQ could work wonders.
No one at TSG is going to tell anyone for format C: with outl explaining what that actually does, not with out the post being deleted promptly and that member being banned at least.
