I can hear the cheering now at the thought of shutting me up in the religious debates...and the groans of those imagining me as a mod. I also think that at least two new mods (one each for random and civdeb) should be created -- people who are familiar with the forum personalities, spend time there, and have the ability to discern the context of this subjective complaint, and intervene earlier. Taking that a step further...the reports for Discussion could go to these new Mods -- which would allow for cooperation and review of eachother (or team...if it goes that far) and allow the tech side Mods more time to administer to their own issues.
Hope that wasn't too much of a hijack | I totally agree with you here, Ciber. | | Distinguished Member with 19,132 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2002 Location: Upstate NY Experience: enough to know better |

Even if I'm involved in a thread, I don't read every post. There are a few people here, I KNOW their opinion already, and when I see that they replied, I skip forward to the next post or the next thread, as I don't give a rats arse about their opinion anyway

I nominate Ciber to moderate
He seems to be level headed, always agrees with me and no one has EVER reported him
Oh, and another person I'll throw out there for mod, would be LANMaster..........he seems pretty level (other than his political views sometimes )

I dont know what axe you have to grind..but I read the posts on most of the forums here, every day, for an hour or two. One thing I have noticed about your posts, is that you have very little to say, except for "why cant we change this"or "why cant we change that" including the balony hubub you created about duplicate accounts at this forum, and the on and on baloney about post counts. Do you not have anything nice to say about anything?
You may take this the wrong way, but I am not an agressive person, and I dont post for postings sake, and I am not attacking you, I would just like you to review your posts since you had your "name change" and maybe consider that you are one of the problems here.
btw, if you think I am "supporting" anyone on the forum, by what I am saying to you...then take some time to click on my profile, and research what I have posted here...BEFORE you try to put me in a box like you seem to have done to so many others here !

I think there are quite a few regulars who should not be a Mod. With that being said... Candy? Karen? Mike? Are we going to have a voice in who's chosen? | | Distinguished Member with 19,132 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2002 Location: Upstate NY Experience: enough to know better |

Anyone who wants few or no changes, will vote for people who they can emotionally manipulate or ones that are too timid to say too much to their friends.
