Mulder, you used to be in hardware and the other tech forums all the time. You got bored man. I am bored also. I will come out of it maybe, maybe not. I have more fun in random than I have posting for the gazillionth time "take your motherboard out of the case, place it on a non conductive surface (the box the board come in would be fine) and try to post outside of the case".
Or, did you install your motherboard drivers?

If windows will not install and is reporting missing files, it just might be your ram. Most likely not a bad windows disc if it is a legit disc. Could be a bad CD rom, doubtful though.
OR
Try rolling back to a previous driver
OR
Your power supply is too weak for your machine etc.
