Did I misunderstand that some folks have issue with sexual innuendo. I did read through some of these threads regarding CD and RD. Why shouldn't I be concerned about sexual innuendo. You must know that some of your comments might be found to be distasteful to a woman.
I'm a new member, which I have mentioned to you before. Yes, I would look to a Distinguished Member and Moderator as to what is appropriate or not. You may take what I say lightly and dismiss everything I say. Although, there is this thread and several others that are taking a good hard look at CD and RD. | Well, sure--if you can take many comments made here out of context. I am quite sure whatever comment you were referring to was meant to be a joke--a purposeful exageration. I think for every one member like you that gets offended, there are 9 others that think its funny--so do we all stop using any type of humor for fear that some new member is going to get offended. In my view, a new member such as yourself has an obligation to wait and learn the personalities of the members before making judgments. You have already demonstrated yourself as a person that makes very quick snap judgments--clearly using bad judgment in the process by judging other's morality.
I've said many times that I'm not a role model for anyone nor do I want to be except for my children--so don't look to me as the role model for your morality--look to AcaCandy!

I was under the impression we delt with what you thought of my actions in the thread I started. Please define your "Hero" status. I missed that thread.
| The "hero" was more tongue-in-cheek--I didn't mean hero. What I meant by that is I get a lot of PMs from people to say they agree with my point of view--that they are not as knowledgeable as me and don't like to get into debates but I say the things they want to say or they believe. What I meant was that there are people who disagree with my style like you and others who like it. But regardless, I don't post to either make people like me or with any concern that they won't like me (obviously! )--I try to be myself where appropriate and to be "Mulder" where appropriate. If that clears it up.

Also bad judgment... You make it sound as if it's a way of life for me. Generalizations. I'm sure you can do better than that.
These postings between us are primarily because you didn't like the way I defined "Civilized". You've devoted how many posts to this, give it a rest. Quote: |

| I did not take that comment out of context. You threw it out there during a chit chat about alcohol.
There you go again trying to back me into a corner by singling me out. There I am again, a minority within your illustrious circle. It must make you feel good to have so many members behind you every step of the way.
I'm out of here.

However, you people in the minority should look at why they are behind me--you like to believe its because they like me or their my friends or a host of other rationalizations--bottom line it is because they agree with me!--they actually have their own opinions on the subject that happen to square with mine. They don't want the morality police judging them either--they just want a little freedom and to be treated like adults instead of children--that is to make up their own minds what they will read and ignor and what can be posted and what won't--they don't want you deciding. Even though some of them may not like what I post either, they realize that next time, it might be someone that doesn't agree with them--might even be someone that's offended by what you posted. Pretty simple concept.
You don't have to believe me--take a look at the poll results!

And on the topic of taking it with you, here's a point to ponder.
You can't take your money with you when you die, but you can take other people's money with you when you die!
Think about it, what happens if you die deep in debt?
