I used to think Moby was crazy because I'd see him here at 10pm New York time...and that made it 3am UK time. There's an 8 hour difference between california and the UK since those crazy californians are behind us sensible ones here on the east coast of the USA so 10pm cali time makes it 6am UK time.
I've always gotten a kick out of times changes like that. I have a friend in Malaysia who is 11 hours ahead of us here! | | Distinguished Member with 3,505 posts. | | |

. lol tea time means evening meal..
if you are really posh it would be dinner time although i have my dinner time at 12 noon so its all a bit confusing
Then afternoon tea at 3pm in our castle gardens cucumber sandwiches and a glass of Pimms to wash it down. although in the winter the cucumber has a habit of freezing

The traditional cucumber sandwich is composed of paper-thin slices of cucumber placed between two triangular slices of lightly buttered white bread.

Silver Spring is also the corporate headquarters for Discovery Communications (TLC, Animal Plant etc etc), last summer to advertise shark week they had this HUGE shark head coming out of the side of the corporate headquarters building and a the tail coming out the backside. It was pretty impressive.
