What app did you use to find the offending spyware? | it was spyware that intruded in my registry....i used SASpyware the purchased version...AVG and BitDefender...i am sorry that i did not bring this to your attention sooner but i did not know that you were there until this morning and i just ran a thorough and complete scan to get rid of it but my pc is still lagging down....i am sorry also because i did not remember what it was identified as...
you might not have anything to worrry about because i am on an older pc without the proper protection for instances such as this...i would run a thorough scan with whatever you are using...i do not have windows XP so i cant get the better protection... | | Distinguished Member with 39,293 posts. | | Join Date: Oct 2002 Location: Dayton,Oh |

I do drive images for exactly this situation.
Although I'm on XP now, when I used 98se, drive imaging saved me several times from lengthy struggles and once even when a MS critical update totally corrupted my noble machine
I like to think I run a 'tight ship' but stuff happens.

#53 | My scans came up clean.
I do block a lot of content, this time it worked out.
I have no intention of pushing my luck and going back, however
Hope you get your's back up to speed.
Me's not so bad as everyone makes out. I have it on an older computer (500 Celeron) that I keep as a back up machine, just in case.
