Solved: Too many questions?
Is there some sort of unofficial limit as to how many questions you can post here? The first time I posted, my problem was solved just about immediatlely. Since then, I have posted a few more, and the responses I've been getting are less and less helpful. Do you guys get sick of the same people asking too many questions? And I was going to donate too!

Yep...It's about 200,000 if I recall...

You do remember that this is an all volunteer site don't you

I personally get "sick" of people looking for something for nothing and getting pissed when they don't get an instance response...

by the way welcome... this is probably the best free tech site on the net...

Calm down. I wasn't disrespecting the site. I appreciate the help I've gotten. I'm sure after this I will get no more. But I was just curious after my experience the first time.

It all depends. On alot of things. Mainly who saw your question and how difficult it is. If you posted it at a time when the person that is good in that field is offline (s)he might not see it.

There is no "limit" for good, normal questions. (not counting spam questions and posting the same question lots of times.)

You'll see that isn't true...our techs are not that childish...and your criticism wasn't blatantly rude like others have been!

I'm sure the fact your threads weren't replied to in what you consider a timely manner could be due to the hour or day of the postings...maybe no techs were on then...or were busy helping the hundreds of others who come here for free assistance! You can always bump up your thread if it gets lost in the shuffle! As for donating...follow your conscience...you were helped!

I see exactly one thread of yours that didn't get reasonably quick responses. Do you really think that's bad? If so, what can I say, you'll have to keep looking for the prompt and free assistance you deserve.

hmmm....interesting questions

no

some may....they are all just people after all....
this is what i've learned....first, i can find the answer to a lot of questions just by browsing the forum and/or searching for it (i mean, look at all the questions that have been asked and solved here!!!)....and even if i don't, it will often lead to a web search that'll get me started towards an answer.....

and this may be what buck was talking around in his response....i dunno your particular situations, ktlogan, but the questions that i ask most come with some evidence that i've at least tried to do some homework first.

since i am not a knowledgable tech person, and this is an all volunteer site, i feel this method is one way to show my respect for the people who can help me here.
