Solved: Message body search problem for keyword
This AM when I searched for the keyword, MBR (in body, not title of messages), in the Unix/Linux forum and child archive - nothing is found. However, when I searched for message posts that I have posted in the same forum and child, posts are found where MBR clearly exists?

It appears that the Search function is broken for basic keyword search in the body of messages.

It's probably because MBR is too short. The search function will only return a result for words of 4 letters or more, with a few exceptions that were added manually by Mike.

Actually, scratch my above response. I just checked in the CP and it's set to return results for words of 3 letters so I'm going to check with Mike on this.

Mike and Dan are looking into this as we speak and I'm sure they will post here as soon as they have an answer for us.

Things should be functioning now with 3 letter word searches.

Cheers!
