DB Outage
This is probably no surprise, but many posts are missing in threads - I assume the DB problems caused the posts to be lost yet the thread is there.

Nice to see it isn't me. I was starting to think there was a problem on my end, any new thread I clicked on was opening but empty.

Can you post a link to these threads, please?

its happened with all kinds so here's a few from different boards

http://forums.techguy.org/games/6187...-games-pc.html

http://forums.techguy.org/all-other-...n-problem.html

http://forums.techguy.org/general-se...e-edition.html

all of these appear as empty for me, the last link even has a response to the original post by cheeseball (but I can't see that either)

edit - I just noticed there is a warning on the server status page "We are having major database problems and hope to have it resolved later today." And if it helps any I'm on using server 1

I thought it was me, too, as some of my posts are missing and the thread isn't.

Any posts that were made while the database was having problems were not saved. Moderators can go ahead and remove them. (Because they were never saved, there's no way to retrieve them.)

I have posts missing almost throughout the whole day. Like dating back to 10 am this morning.

Geez look at this one: http://forums.techguy.org/windows-nt...-start-up.html

Ehhhh....okay I'm guessing anything we replied to this afternoon has to be removed right?
Cause every thread I go to in my User CP comes up blank.

Guess I'm glad I spent 3 hours doing housework this morning and then spent the afternoon with company instead of posting.

Are there still problems Mike? Because when I do a search for posts by my name, none of the posts I just made this evening show up.

On server 4.
