Thanks, Angel!

And thanks to Heather for pushing the "Enter" button to fix the server... (and I'm going to blame her for restoring the wrong backup earlier today =)

It sure is good to be back. I may have only been here about 3 months but its been "home" for that time & to suddenly not be able to get in was awful.
Not sure what happened to the server but Im hoping as w/ all here... it doesn't happen again.
Mike really sorry this happened to your great setup.

I bet it feels good to get that taken care of...for now at least... doesn't it? It's good to be back... I was afraid I would be stuck with that Arie guy at windows-help.net for too much longer. He seems to have a quarrel with avatars and spell checkers...

Hiya

Yep, its great to be back. Lets hope we can stay around forever, or as long as the CPU lasts

Rhett, you're right. We all logged in at once there, and stayed in that Random forum. Still, I did get to post some replies, so kept my brain in gear.

Also discovered something that had a layer of dust and cobwebs on it. Some of you may know what it is. Its called a TV. Strange thing

I must admit that I was guilty of doing that. I felt like a stranger in a foreign land, which isn't new for me, but I didn't even go sightseeing....... I just went to keep in touch with my other 'homeless' friends. I'm so glad we're all together again and I'd like to thank Heather for pushing that 'Enter' button
I missed you guys
And btw Mike.......like hewee said, "don't do that again"

Great to be back "home" again. My wife thought I was having a withdrawal problem. Is there anyway we can help out to prevent any future problems like this? Gary

I also am glad to be back. Losing what is our I-net home due to some idiot hacker is like a burglar in my home. Missed this place
and felt like a fish out of water in others. I am glad everyone who can is pitching in with donations for a new Server and better protection from these malicious hackers.

I don't have the time to get in the thick of these discussions every day, but now that I've finished a project that took me a year-and-a-half to complete and the holiday company that has filled our house for the past three weeks is about to leave, I hope to be able to contribute a little something to these forums from time to time, even if it's only witty comments from an old gray-haired man who likes long sentences -- like this one.

You are talking about windows-help.net... right?

You I was wondering the same thign over there. He re-opened on the 7th and by the 9th already had close to 500 members re-registered. All the TSG people flocked to the random forum and were posting to each other. I did come out of my hole to work on a few threads on their help boards, but only a few. Mostly I was in random (you know me) with all the other TSG people. I wonder what Arie and any non-TSG individual were all thinking when they walked into that random board and saw all these TSG people milling about, like you would see people if you walked into a red cross shelter in an area taken out by a vicious hurricane.
