Exclamation Solved: The time of last visit...
This is a compelling situation. I mean having TechGuy's undivided attention!

I think that the time of last visit may be faulty - I mean the hours past. It is possible that after an all night session I may be slightly/a lot faulty myself.

However I have been in and out, on or off, signed-in most of the time this past night.

So when I see what the attached thumbnail suggests (just captured) well, I wonder about all things.

Ben.

Try log off / log on -- I think it's working. Thanks!

Hello TechGuy,

It does work when I use log off/log on. Just did that. But I never have used the log off for as long as I can remember yet my last visit as timed always seemed right on.

But if you are satisfied - I can surely be so.

Thanks for responding.

Edit: I just followed my normal practice of leaving, clearing cookies and returning and logging-in. It is working fine.

Mine is not showing up right either because it says...

Welcome, hewee.
Last visit: Today
Messages: Unread 0, Total 10.

It does not have the date and time I was here last. Yes it was the same day so that part was right but when today? If I came here 4 or 5 times a day then the Last visit: would also say Today.

Harry, I think but am not yet certain that after an hour has gone by we get Today and date related, but before that we get Minutes ago. But it's just a thought - no certainty.

Cheers.(now where did I get that sock!!)

Ben.

I think that's actually related to a time issue across the whole board. I had previously re-written part of the software to show "x minutes ago" for up to an hour, and then the real time. I've spent hours trying to do the same on this new version, but haven't had much luck yet.

Speaking of time issues, I live in the Eastern time zone and when I would post something it would get a time stamp of the current Eastern time. The time stamp now is one hour ahead.

Shouldn't the time be set to GMT -5 instead of GMT -4?

Head to http://forums.techguy.org/profile.php?do=editoptions (Which is "Edit Options" under "My Account") and make sure that you're set for Eastern time and that Daylight Savings is set for Automatic.

Thanks Mike, that was it.

The time zone was right but DST was set to always on instead of automatic. It's been a long time since I set those options, I forgot they were there.
