Mobile TechGuy!
Do you surf the Internet on your mobile phone? If so, visit http://forums.techguy.org/ using your mobile phone. (Maybe I'll work on a shorter domain, eh?) You can get details here http://www.techguy.org/mobile.html

As that page says, this is still very much a Beta project. While I plan to use the feature myself, the time I spend developing it will probably depend on how much feedback I get. I don't want to waste too much time on a feature that only two people use.

Make sure to give support for iPod Touch and iPhone. It looks the same to me when I tried forums.techguy.org on my iPod Touch.

This will help http://www.alistapart.com/articles/p...tentinmypocket

Yeah, I was wondering what I wanted to do with iPhone and iPod Touch... They have such nice big screens that I hate to have them fall back to the ugly text-only version. After all, they tout how you can see the real Internet on it. I might have to look into creating a per-user option, depending on if you wish to see the text version or the real version. But, again, that might depend on demand.

You obviously didn't buy the washable model.

Oops, I better get out of here, Mike will whack me for cluttering up this thread!

I haven't checked yet, but will this work (either now or eventually) with the DS browser on my Nintendo DS?

I didn't even know the DS had a web browser. Use it to head to http://www.useragent.org/ and let me know what the User Agent is. Try to be as precise as possible when typing it. Thanks!

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Nitro) Opera 8.50 [en]

Unlike the PSP, you have to buy the DS browser separately for around $30. It's good for some things, but it's very slow. And it doesn't even support Flash.

A mobile style is very good to have.

I've been testing a mobile style that I've been working on, in which I use a .xml plugin that detects if your using a mobile, then takes you too the mobile style.

Regards Jason
