Mobile tech guy. a good solution
I don't this soltution would be impossibly hard but i know it would defiantly be more convient and better for me and probably many other.

Basically you could create new threads, and reply to suscribed topic trhu text messaging. you would get alerted when any of your subscribed topics has a reply and then give you the opt to reply to that topic. In additon you would be able to create your new thread by text your thread to ?????. In additon, there could be another feature which c ould be to text a certain text to a certain number to give you a list of lets say 5 unaswered topics. text 1,2,3,4,5 to select the topic you like and then give you thopt of reply to it, which would then subsribed you to it. But most basically all that is vital is jus to reply to subscribed thread which shouldnt be too hard. lemme know what you guys think of this

a system of posts and replies based on text messaging, would be as archaic as the old-fashioned "mailing lists".

Mailing list? Pfft, who still runs those?

Sorry, I don't think a method of using TSG via text messaging will ever happen.

Well you have these forums too, so that's alright

Something like the W3C mailing list, where that's all they have for communication, is rather old-fashioned and since they use preformatted text, it looks horrible with long messages.
