Benefits of joining TGF: Analyze games, get video game recommendations, set up games with other users, gain more knowledge about gaming, get in the swing of the latest in the gaming world, get help and support with many things, recruit and look for clans/guilds/teams, have fun, chat, discuss the consoles, ect
What is "ect"?

Why would we need more ranks BTW?

well ect is ecetera (and so on). and more rnaks i think gives an incentive to members to keep on postsing. if a member knows they need 300 more posts to rank up then they arent going to post as much as they would if it was only 50. its gives more incentive in smaller increments and can more accurately protray a users xp level w/o loookign at their post count

The "rank" really means nothing. If your measure of your worth is how may posts you have, I suggest you reconsider your ranking system.

w/e jus a suggestion. and btw, i don't think spelling really counts as long as my point is clear, and i'm pretty sure your smart enough to derive the intention of my post.

Obviously your against my idea but i still do think it would be more of an incentive for members that have a long way to go to rank up, as well as something to look foward to.

My point is that there is not a contest to see how many posts you can accumulate, that's a byproduct of participation in the forum. Hopefully, all the post are quality posts, and not just three word answers to run up the post count.

Rank means nothng. Many who have "Distinguished Member" next to their name are idiots, and many who are "Junior Member" really know their stuff.

Look at me, I have a few posts and genuinely help in most of 'em.

I agree with JohnWill, if we give incentive to have post counts mean more, then less help will be given in each post!

For future reference, et cetera is abbreviated etc.
