With all due respect JohnWill and Mike/Techguy Guru as well as cwwozniak and wacor... you are not being realistic... they don't ... period... plenty don't even read the main title

If the main title is not changed nothing will change...

The main title needs to make it clear that the section/forum is NOT for computer related questions...

My guess is that the number of people that read the sub title is below zero.... As it is, that forum is still open for anything...

with all respect...

NON computer related Do It Yourself Projects
I don't have enough fingers and toes to add it all up but it is well within the limit

By the way... Again just my guess but I don't think it will make a hoot anyway... sad as it sounds... it's the nature of the net...

Yeah there will always be those that do not pay attention. But that would weed out some.

Makes not difference to me. I only brought it up as some others had commented that it was being used for computer stuff when that was not what I believe the intent was.

Even if you put it in big red letters at the top of the page, some people still won't read it. This will help regulars figure out what goes where, as well as new users interested enough to read. Not much we can do about the others.

hogwash...

Hi Mike... As I said few if any read the subtitle... The main forum title should be as specific as space allows...

"Do It Yourself Projects" will attract computer questions no matter what the subtitle say... period

It would be a great forum/section IF it was titled correctly...

regards

Buck you do have a point.

I give a great example my brother taught me about how people perceive things.

If you go to a customer and tell them the price to do some work for example would be between lets say $100-$200.
They will automatically remember the $100 figure. And forget the higher number.

His advice was to always say it would cost between $200-$100

Putting the NON computer point first would be using the same principle.

that would help alot I think Mike... as long as it's the main title... the sub-title is of little value

maybe... "Non-Computer Related Projects"

just out of curiosity... what don't you or any of the powers that be...you being the main power... don't you like about one I posted...

I think the that description is fine, and should get the point across. Currently on my mobile -- working fine!

I really don't think I should reply to that -- I'm outnumbered by Yanks hehe. But, I thought you were the ones who drive on the wrong side of the road?
